Anonymous, could you provide some examples? They don't SPEAK about vestments terribly much, although certainly the VIDEO portion shows priests and seminarians in clerical attire (as is proper to them).
Emphasis on the rituals a priest performs is important. A priest is not a "social worker" or "community president". He is a priest of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The ritual of vesting for Mass (including the vesting prayers), which may have been left by the wayside since Vatican II, is a very meaningful ritual, a daily reminder of WHO the priest is and WHAT he is called to.
