40 Hours at Mater Ecclesiae

I'm driving down to Mater Ecclesiae in Berlin, NJ, tonight. They're beginning their 40 Hours adoration this evening at 7:30 with a Eucharistic Procession followed by Mass, and then adoration. Fr. John Zuhlsdorf (of WDTPRS) will be preaching.

This will be the fourth Mass in the Extraordinary Form I have attended, and the first time I've met Fr. Z... not to mention the first time I've attended Adoration in the traditional rite.

When I see you write things like that, I forget how fortunate I am, going to an EF Mass more than once a week (four times this week!).

All the best to Fr Z. from me (not that he knows me).

Glad you are getting there this time ...

What's this I've read in the diocesan newspaper: the bishop's calendar for Sunday takes him to SDTK for a ground-breaking/altar consecration ceremony?!

Exciting.

Oh yeah. St. David the King is going to have some construction done. New altar, I hear. I hope it looks like an altar.
